How do I migrate data?

Migrating data to a new storage platform is complex and time-consuming. Many times, it is difficult to establish beforehand how long it will take and how much it will cost. E-Storage solves these issues with its Storage Data Migration Service (SDMS).Based on a fixed budget, tight planning and clear procedures we take care of your data migration process. During the migration activities, all your production systems remain online. Productivity is therefore ensured.

E-Storage’s SDMS consists of a standardized working method with fixed checkpoints. In addition, we use a special migrating tool: the so-called Data Migration Unit. This fully redundant unit is placed in your Storage Area Network (SAN) and linked to the existing server and storage systems. For SDMS, we deploy among others the building block IBM SAN Volume Controller (SVC).
